Dear Interested Golfer,

 I am writing to introduce a remarkable individual who will be honored as our 2024 Golf Outing Honoree by the St. Judes Council this year. We are truly blessed to have Jim Barker as part of our community, and I wanted to take a moment to share some details about him.

Jim Barker is a resident of Manorville, NY, where he resides with his wife and two children. As the president of Roanoke Sand and Gravel in Rocky Point, NY, Jim oversees a team of 40 employees and numerous other business ventures. This family-owned company has been successfully operating for over 50 years, and Jim's dedication and hard work have propelled him to his current position.

What truly sets Jim apart is his unwavering commitment to serving others. His employees are fortunate to have a leader who not only provides guidance and support but also genuinely cares about their well-being and their families. Jim's acts of kindness extend far beyond his professional life. He is involved in several charitable organizations and sponsors numerous initiatives, including the Hope House Ministry, church renovations, and St. Paul's Cursillo Program, to name just a few.

Faith plays a significant role in Jim's life, and his relationship with God is truly inspiring. He is actively involved as the director of the St. Paul's Men's Cursillo Program, which focuses on helping men deepen their faith and strengthen their bond with God. Jim's passion for this program is evident in the way he leads a group of laymen, working tirelessly to create a meaningful and spiritually enriching experience.

Throughout his lifetime, Jim has touched the lives of thousands of people, whether it be through leading them to Christ or providing tremendous support through generous donations and selfless acts of service. We, the St. Judes Knights of Columbus, are privileged to have Jim as our brother, and we are profoundly grateful for all he does in God's name.

We are extending you an invitation to join us for the  Annual Knights of Columbus of Rocky Point, NY Council # 5814 Golf Tournament and Awards Luncheon.

The Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament honoring Jim Barker will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024. The golf will be played at The Middle Island County Club. The event has an 8:00 AM Shotgun start, with registration beginning at 7:00  AM. Golfers will receive a gift bag and beverages on the course.
